Blog #2 (Big Ideas!)

My three big ideas are identity, purpose, and relationship(s). When searching on flickr.com I was fascinated by what people tagged as identity. Some of the pictures according to what I was thinking was totally off the map. It was very interesting seeing what all different people think of when thinking of these three words!

BIG Ideas Warm Up

Identity: When thinking of the big idea of "Identity" what comes to my mind is what one chooses to make of oneself, and how one expresses oneself. One can express identity throughout the different types and styles of clothing, make up, or just appearance in general. Either conforming to what is seen as normal, different, preppy, etc.. or branching off and creating something totally different. Something else that comes to mind is ones employment status, or what they do on a daily basis. One's identity is often decided by the career path chosen or determined for them.
Purpose: When thinking of "Purpose" I think of why is one doing this, what kind of goal does one have from this. Purpose means the reason one goes to school, the reason one has certain likes and dislikes, or just the reason behind anything.
Relationships: Family, friends, co-workers, loved ones, wife or husband, school mates, enemies....

I was searching the internet for different types of artists because I really do not have a favorite artist or really know of any and I decided to check out some fashion types of art and stumbled across coach! Coach makes a different selection of handbags with different colr patterns, styles, patterns, and they are all so unique and fashionable. Coach makes wallets, and baby bags, as well as clothes. Coach also designs different glasses and accessories. Coach is so widespread as to what they design that someone along the way will enjoy their product. Although coach products tend to run a bit on the expensive side, their uniqueness and quality can be well worth the price. On a side note coach is so popular that some places are making fakes or copycats at a much lower price making it seem as if you one is getting a deal. This shows you how great of a product coach makes that people are copying them knowing they can sell.
